Beard Hair Transplant

This procedure is often performed on young men who view a full beard as a sign of maturity, as well as on men with acne scars or scars from mechanical injuries. Beard transplants can also be done purely for aesthetic reasons.

As with a traditional hair transplant, follicles are taken from the back of the head, as they are not susceptible to androgenic hormones that cause hair loss.

Post-operative swelling typically appears within 24 to 48 hours after the procedure and subsides completely within 3-4 days. Small scabs form on the skin, which heal within 5 to 7 days. For the first 2-3 months, the skin may have a slight pinkish tint.

Throughout the entire recovery period, the patient is under the care of the lead physician and the team at Dr. Art Clinic Poland.
